MODERN AND ANCIENT GRAFFITI

Here is the picture of one of Ancient Graffiti's of the GREAT ALEXANDER. This is the ancient type of Graffti.

Usaully the Ancient Graffiti is done on the walls or on the stones of the mountains etc. So they used to use Animal bones and pigments to do so. So, the clarity of those paintings are a bit dull when compared to the modern Graffiti.

As the picture shows that the........
  • colour of the Graffiti is not attractive
  • the carvings are not so clearly furnished
  • the edges doesn't have the clarity of curve
  • there was no such perfect finishing
But, still in those days, these Graffiti was very popular and was seen with excitement by all the viewers. The purpose of Graffiti in the olden days are also the same .....like......
  • for fun
  • for promoting any picture
  • for tourists views etc....

 Humm......
Here is the picture representing the Modern Graffiti in Australia in the Railway Station.

If you observe carefully.......you could see that the Graffiti done in the Railway station is not on the surface of the train, but on the side wall and it is looking like on the surface of the train.

So, the Modern Graffiti uses the SPRAY PAINTINGS,  MARKER PENS etc to paint and that is the reason the Graffiti looks COLOURFUL, more bright etc....Also the design and the characters are tooo good to view and to draw. Graffiti is more commonly found in foreign countries ( In India, it is found very rarely).

The purpose of Modern Graffiti is.....
  • the fun to draw
  • to promote a political party
  • to advertisements etc..........
